Volley Ball Frenzy!

Has it indeed been over two weeks since the yogi last presented himself? Alas, having to work, play and study all at once is time consuming, tiring, and inevitable. He's had a piece of the volleyball pie, so to speak, for he often plays this sport with newly made friends - a definite plus in his life at the moment.

According to him, things couldn't get any better, except ofcourse his bad luck in the constant job search. The antaryami once approached TLY in his dreams, and told him that his karma will soon bear fruit...TLY would like to take that as a positive sign - the writer agrees (an irony, for TLY himself is the writer...)

Big plans were made for the summer, half of which haven't even been put into action. He claims to have a valid reason for the slack, but reveal it he will not. Whatever the situation, the yogi definitely has to start learning some programming....for his own good. This, everybody knows, is necessary for him to get a job that he has been eyeing for over 3 weeks now...Good luck TLY.

By the way, he has been performing well in his class recently, certainly a good thing. Yet, for some evil deed performed earlier on, he has been punished by having his sole music companion, the IPOD mini, stripped from his possession. And this was done in such a place where nobody would even imagine a theft taking place (OK, a little bit of exaggeration).

The yogi would love to continue his tale, but a demanding game of volleyball has sucked the life out of him (not to mention a red rash on his forearms!)..therefore, till next time, TLY bids farewell

Bigger challenges

The Yogi lied. Well, atleast uptill now. Before, he really wasn't all that busy, whiling away time by indulging in various activities which did not serve any purpose. Looks like that's all going to change - atleast he hopes it will.

Two days back, the Yogi was forced to meet an old pal, an individual he used to spend a lot of time with during his regular semester. Patrick, a truly well-natured gora with a big brain, escorted him to the Stryker Headquarters, where the yogi was to be reminded of his true purpose of returning to Kalamazoo - his senior design project. The circuit drawings and schematics shown to him were amazingly alien to him, despite him being an electrical engineer. You might think it's funny, but the yogi feels bitter about it. "Now I will have to prove my intellectual prowess once again - and to do so, I have to stay in the game." Thus saying, he acknowledged the fact that he had wasted enough time and the day had come when he had to buckle up and start being a little more serious about his academics, project, and career.

Who said he's not in the game?

TLY reportedly keeps himself busy nowadays. Rumor has it that the once doubtful yogi has got on with life, but with a lot of difficulty. He has resumed his job in his Paatshala, and is also working on his physique. Not to mention his classes and never-ending search for a brighter future in the form of a job opportunity. With all these activities, plus the computer and TV as forms of entertainment, the yogi seems to have settled for a dull albeit busy life.

"No qualms" he says, "for there are only 35 days left for this semester to end"..and with that, he happily indulges in his studies and daily activities, with the vision of a brighter future.

"Right now, however, I am worried about Zizou's golden ball title." Let us see what fate has in store for the Zidane, the flawed genius...

A different world...

Many a time are mortals put through hardships, all of which amount to a great amount of pain...and yet the end result is what builds them. Experience in any form is the door to a world which is far greater than many imagine... and it is only through the test of time do great souls emerge.

At the end of a beautifully crafted chapter, The Yogi's life once again has converged to a single path; one which although is clearly framed in his mind, is arduous to tread - for the more his mind wanders from his goal, the farther the path eludes him.

"The "lone" in my name has taken a far greater meaning now than it ever has...truly this phase in my life is not but one of the many trials of life, and so i shall face it with utmost happiness...for it only builds for one a step more on the mountain whose peak is moksha"... TLY

Flight of time

Why does time run so fast? Indeed, it is quite the task to keep up with it - and yet time always seems to be WITH us.

Several weeks back, he pictured the day he would leave his home...a strong sense of de-ja-vu enveloped him then...for he had experienced the same thing 10 months earlier...and history seemed to repeat itself, as the yogi shall be returning to a mechaical life very soon. Currently, he is not in the mood for penning down his thoughts...and there will be a break of 2 to 3 days..taking into consideration the fact that he has a long journey tomorrow..and that he might not be in a stable state of mind...

So, till Friday, Adios..

Apology for the Hiatus

He humbly apologizes for the obvious delay in posting current events... It should be understood that the yogi has higher priorities at the moment, and any time he can spare should be solely dedicated to his up-bringers. Nevertheless, the time has come for him to rid himself of the feeling of regret and remorse caused by the South Americans.

Larger than life Brazilian figures failed him completely; the likes of Ronaldinho and Ronaldo couldn't change fate - a replay of the 1998 WC final was inevitable as it stood. Like a gigantic mammoth fell by skilled hunter, Brazil succumbed to the French.

Irrespective of the outcome, Zidane definitely deserved a standing ovation. A player with such skill and focus deserves nothing less. And yet, inspite of the Yogi's admiration for ZZ, he cannot help supporting Germany, for they were his favorites throughout the tournament.. A strong gut feeling tells him he cannot go wrong in his thoughts... an instinct which shall definitely stand the test of time.

Will the host weild the prize?

Graphics Mania!

He's recently had an urge to learn basic graphic designing - probably the result of a dire need to express himself in the form of art. The Yogi always admired art, in any form, and yet his interest in it stood only at that - appreciation.

Will this new form of recreation lead him to his destiny? Only Adobe Photoshop 8 can tell!
